KIDS:  Stay Away From                                    "Mr. Ouch"

When you see Mr. Ouch - Stay away!

     Teach your children to stay away from "Mr. Ouch" - a warning label we place on high voltage equipment. Remind them to never touch or play near utility poles, wires or other equipment.

ALSO...

     Make sure that children fly kites only in open areas well away from power lines. Tell them that if their kite gets caught in a power line or in any type of electrical equipment, they should never try to remove it themselves. They should ask an adult to call Doug Proto at 631-0240 so we can take care of it.

     Caution children to never climb a tree with power lines running through it or near it. If something is caught in the tree, tell them to leave it alone and have an adult call the Light Department.
